Maestro 3D 6.0 Dental Studio is a comprehensive tool designed for the realization of orthodontic treatments and the design of aesthetic and functional dental appliances based on the individual dental anatomy of patients. This software includes two primary working areas: Order Management and Dental Studio.

Key Features:

• Order Management: This application is used for managing the customer database, creating new work cases, and opening existing ones. Note that this software does not have a medical purpose as defined by the MDR Regulation, hence it does not classify as a medical device.
• Dental Studio: Import digital 3D files from 3D scans and 2D images (e.g., patient photos). The software then analyzes and modifies the input files to create a set of 3D models needed for orthodontic and restorative treatments. The 3D input files can originate from 3D intraoral or extraoral scanners, particularly structured light or laser scanners.

Modular Design:

Maestro 3D Dental Studio is modular, composed of two main macro modules:

1. Ortho Studio:
   • Create 3D models based on orthodontic standards such as Parallel, Tweed, Ricketts, and ABO.
   • Perform analysis of specific parameters on 3D models (e.g., mesodistal distances, root lengths, intersections) to make decisions regarding orthodontic treatments.
   • Simulate teeth repositioning to plan appropriate treatments.
   • Automatically generate a sequence of transition models from the initial to the final position, determined by the maximum movement constraints of each transition model.
   • Compare current teeth positions with initial positions during treatment to evaluate progress.
2. Smile Creator:
   • Design aesthetic and functional dental appliances based on individual dental anatomy.
   • Enhance communication between the dental technician, doctor, and patient through predictable results achieved by creating accurate 3D models.
